First Look: Bridgit Mendler Debuts On Thursday’s “Nashville”

Last week’s two-hour “Nashville” season premiere referenced Ashley Willerman, an Internet phenomenon with whom Avery and Deacon will be recording.

This week, we’ll meet the character.

Ashley will be played by guest star Bridgit Mendler.

Mendler may be best known for starring on “Good Luck Charlie” and “Undateable,” but she has also achieved success as a recording artist.

Her debut album “Hello My Name Is…” yielded a platinum single in “Ready Or Not” and a gold single in “Hurricane.”

Her recently released “Nemesis” EP, meanwhile, received strong marks from critics and “tastemakers.”
