Hugh Laurie Wins Golden Globe For TV Supporting Actor

Hugh Laurie was the best supporting actor on television this past year.

So says the Hollywood Foreign Press, which awarded the actor the Golden Globe for Supporting Actor in a TV Drama, Comedy, Musical, Miniseries or Movie.

The actor, who rose to fame on “House,” won for his work on AMC’s “The Night Manager.”

He topped Sterling K. Brown (“The People v. OJ”), Christian Slater, John Lithgow, and John Travolta.
