NBC’s January 10 “This Is Us” To Air After President Obama’s Address

NBC’s coverage of President Barack Obama’s farewell address will not bump the “This Is Us” midseason premiere to another night.

It will, however, push the eagerly anticipated episode to a later time period.

Per NBC, “This Is Us” will air at 10PM ET/9PM CT/8PM MT on January 10. It normally airs one hour earlier.

The episode will meanwhile air twice on the west coast — from 9-10PM PT and 10-11PM PT.

Obama’s speech is set to air from 9-9:40PM ET; NBC will bridge the gap between the speech and “This Is Us” with portions of a “The Wall” encore.

The network’s January 10 broadcast plan follows:

Eastern time zone

9 p.m. — President Obama address
9:40 p.m. — “The Wall” (encore of Dec. 19 episode, joined in progress)
