Ratings: “Adventures In Babysitting” Was 2016’s Top Cable Show Across Major Youth Demos

2016 is just about over, and several of the previously reported “Adventures In Babysitting” achievements still stand.

Citing live+7 data, Disney Channel reiterates that the first run of its original movie drew 2.4 million kids 2-11, 1.9 million kids 6-11 and 2.5 million kids 6-14.

It ties fellow Disney Channel movie “Elena And The Secret Of Avalor” as the #1 cable program in kids 2-11 and outright ranks as the leader in kids 6-11 and kids 6-14.

Across all demographics (2+), the first run of “Adventures In Babysitting” reached a total live+7 audience of 4.8 million. The figure is 2016’s best for a telecast on a kid cable network.

— “Elena,” meanwhile, posted kid cable’s second-best rating (and best for an original) in adults 18-49. Its first run drew 1.5 million viewers in that valuable young adult demographic.

When it comes to kid cable, only the 2/14/16 airing of “Frozen” drew more viewers in the 18-49 demographic.
