Little Mix’s “Glory Days” Reaches Platinum In UK; Metallica’s “Hardwired” Certified Gold

Two of November’s biggest album releases have earned new certifications in the UK.

According to the BPI, Little Mix’s “Glory Days” officially went platinum this week. The certification confirms 300,000 in UK units.

Metallica’s “Hardwired … To Self-Destruct” meanwhile earned a gold certification, confirming 100,000 in UK units.

The two albums both entered the market on November 18; “Glory Days” debuted at #1 on the subsequent week’s chart, while “Hardwired” started at #2.
