After spending four weeks in the #1 position, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” cedes its throne at hot adult contemporary radio.

The new leader is Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know,” which rises one place to #1 on Mediabase’s Hot AC chart.

The Maroon 5 single received ~6,685 spins during the December 11-17 tracking week (+408). “Closer” falls to #2 with ~6,297 (-122).

Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” holds at #3 with ~5,237 weekly spins (-122), while a spin count of ~4,821 (-263) keeps Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” at #4.

Up one place, Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” takes #5 on the strength of its ~4,355 tracking period plays (+249).
