Ratings: VH1’s “America’s Next Top Model” Premiere Tops Last CW Opener

Not simply a season premiere, Monday’s “America’s Next Top Model” marked the series’ first episode on VH1.

It outperformed the last season premiere (as well as the last episode) to air on its former CW home.

According to live+same-day numbers posted by Showbuzz, Monday’s “ANTM” drew a 0.65 adults 18-49 rating and 1.28 million total viewers.

Airing on The CW, the previous “ANTM” season premiere drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and 1.15 million total viewers on August 5, 2015. That previous season’s finale drew a 0.3 rating and 1.16 million total viewers on December 4, 2015.

This Monday’s episode, in fact, beat all of the previous season’s episodes in the adults 18-49 demographic. It beat all but three in total viewership.

Granted, it had help. In addition to heavy promotion, Monday’s “America’s Next Top Model” received lead-in support from the highly rated “Love And Hip-Hop,” which posted a 1.32 rating and drew 2.55 million viewers in the 9PM hour.
