Songs from four popular male country stars debut on the latest 50-track Mediabase country radio singles chart.
Credited with 4,477 chart points during the December 4-10 tracking week (+3,010), Luke Bryan’s “Fast” flies in at #33. It was below the chart at #53 last week.
The position is based on the chart score, but it is worth noting that “Fast” received 1,386 weekly spins (+1,013) and 8.846 million weekly audience impressions.
Up nineteen slots from last week’s ranking, Jason Aldean’s “Any Ol’ Barstool” earns #36. It received 3,174 weekly chart points (+1,781), 954 weekly plays (+538) and 5.612 million weekly audience impressions.
Billy Currington’s “Do I Make You Wanna,” which was #56 last week, improves to #45 this week. It garnered 1,837 chart points (+466), 570 spins (+125) and 2.774 million weekly audience impressions.
Hunter Hayes’ “Yesterday’s Song,” the fourth of the debuts, takes #48. Up four places from last week’s slot, it attained 1,795 chart points (+235), 497 spins (+53) and 2.210 million weekly audience impressions.
Editor’s Note: Unlike the other genre charts, the Mediabase country listing does not rank songs based on raw airplay. It instead uses a proprietary scoring system that gives each spin a point value based on the size of the market in which it was received.
