Ratings: “Christmas In Rockefeller Center” Rises, “Christmas Of Many Colors” Strong

NBC’s holiday-themed lineup delivered Wednesday night.

The annual “Christmas In Rockefeller Center” outperformed the 2015 edition, while “Dolly Parton’s Christmas Of Many Colors: Circle Of Love” performed nearly as well as last year’s “Dolly Parton’s Coat Of Many Colors” — and won the night in terms of total viewership.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, “Christmas In Rockefeller Center” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating and 10.51 million total viewers in the 8-9PM timeslot. Last year’s Rock Center special posted a 1.5 and 8.07 million.

“Christmas In Rockefeller” was its timeslot’s #2 program in adults 18-49 and #1 program in total viewership. It was the night’s second-most-watched show.

“Circle Of Love,” the night’s most-watched program, garnered a 1.8 rating and 11.73 million viewers in the 9PM hour and drew a 1.7 and 11.34 million total viewers from 10-11PM.

Last year’s movie, which aired from 9-11PM on December 10, 2015, averaged a 1.8 and 13.03 million total viewers.
