First Look: NBC’s “This Is Us” Celebrates “Last Christmas” In Fall Finale
It is the biggest new hit of the television season. It is the second-highest rated drama — new or old — on network television.
Next Tuesday night, “This Is Us” airs its fall finale.
The episode is called “Last Christmas,” and its past and present storylines both take place during the holiday season.
In the past, Kate comes down with appendicitis, and the Pearson family is forced to head to the hospital on Christmas Eve. While there, they encounter Dr. K, who is all alone. “They realize they need to be there for him as much as he was once there for them,” notes NBC’s official synopsis.
In the present, Kevin heads to a Hanukkah celebration. Kate continues contemplating gastric bypass surgery, and someone from William’s past resurfaces.
