The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Ranks As Pop Radio’s #1 Song For 9th Week

Last week, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” returned to #1 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This week, it retains that throne.

Played ~17,934 times during the official November 20-26 tracking week (-460), “Closer” earns a ninth, non-consecutive week at #1.

DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You (featuring Justin Bieber)” holds at #2 with ~17,403 weekly spins (-898), while Ariana Grande’s “Side To Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)” rises two spots to #3.

“Side To Side” received ~15,637 weekly spins, besting last week’s count by 1,567. That represents the pop format’s greatest weekly gain.

The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” drops one spot to #4 with ~14,671 (+96), while gnash’s “i hate u, i love u (featuring olivia o’brien)” moves up a spot to #5. It received ~13,752 weekly spins (+417).
