DNCE’s Album Reportedly Debuts With 19.0K First-Week US Sales

DNCE’s self-titled debut entered the market this past week, and it apparently sold just under 20,000 pure US copies.

According to data from BuzzAngle, “DNCE” drove ~18,963 pure US sales during the November 18-24 tracking week. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, the album generated ~25,032 opening week consumption units.

Based on the BuzzAngle/Hits data, the figures should have “DNCE” in the #10-13 range on Billboard Top Album Sales (pure sales) and at around #15 on the Billboard 200 (consumption).

Due in the next few days, Billboard’s more authoritative data may differ slightly from that reported by BuzzAngle. The slight discrepancy will not be enough to paint a notably different picture of the album’s first week performance.
