Unlike last week’s episode, this Sunday’s edition of “The Walking Dead” did not face competition from a World Series game.
It still suffered week-to-week losses in the live+same-day ratings.
According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “TWD” drew a 5.68 adults 18-49 rating and 11.72 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 6.09 rating and 12.46 million mark garnered by the previous episode.
Despite the week-to-week loss, “TWD” was obviously still a monster performer. It was by far the top show on cable Sunday night.
It meanwhile ranked as Sunday night’s #2 overall show in adults 18-49. Only NBC’s Sunday Night Football (6.6) fared better in the key demo.
“The Walking Dead” led into “Talking Dead,” which drew a 1.83 rating and 4.06 million total viewers. Last week’s episode of the post-game show posted a 2.03 rating and 4.29 million in total viewership.
