Little Big Town’s “Better Man” Tops Third Straight Country Radio Add Board

Country radio programmers are continuing to show their support for Little Big Town’s “Better Man.”

Picked up by another 42 Mediabase-monitored country stations this week, “Better Man” ranks as country radio’s most added song for a third straight week.

“Better Man” has had a colossal week. Following the revelation that Taylor Swift wrote the song, the release of the music video and a performance at the CMA Awards, “Better Man” rocketed to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

Attention will now turn to its ascent at country radio. The fact that it has topped there straight country radio add boards surely paints an optimistic picture regarding its ability to make a meaningful run up the airplay chart.

Credited with 32 weekly adds, Tucker Beathard’s “Momma and Jesus” ranks as second-most added.

Tyler Farr’s “Our Town” takes third with 17 adds, while an add count of 16 slots Michael Ray’s “Think A Little Less” in fourth place.

Jon Pardi’s “Dirt On My Boots” grabs fifth place with 14 weekly adds.

This week’s other notable country radio options: Dierks Bentley’s “Black” (12 adds, 6th-most, tie), Justin Moore’s “Somebody Else Will” (12 adds, 6th-most, tie), Kelsea Ballerini’s “Yeah Boy” (12 adds, 6th-most, tie), Jake Owen’s “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You” (11 adds, 9th-most), and Brad Paisley’s “Today” (10 adds, 10th-most).
