Bon Jovi’s new “This House Is Not For Sale” should easily win the weekly US album sales race.
According to Hits Daily Double, the veteran rock act’s new album should sell 108-112,000 pure US copies this week. The count should comfortably position “House” atop the Top Album Sales chart.
The album will not receive a significant boost from TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500), but it should still generate enough total consumption for #1 on the Billboard 200.
In terms of pure sales, the next-best-performing newcomers will be Alicia Keys’ “HERE” (38-42K pure US copies) and NOW 60 (35-40K pure US copies).
As far as the Billboard 200 goes, the closest competition among newcomers will likely come from The Chainsmokers’ new “Collage” EP. While it will only sell about 10K pure copies, it will receive a huge TEA and SEA boost thanks to the popularity of the tracks. It could generate upwards of 50K in total consumption.
