Little Big Town, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris Rocket Into Top 4 On US iTunes Sales Chart Following CMA Awards

Little Big Town’s “Better Man” already had ample momentum thanks to the reveal that Taylor Swift wrote the song.

A performance during Wednesday’s CMA Awards ceremony amplified that momentum, and the song is now #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

The chart’s next three positions are also occupied by songs that were showcased during the CMA Awards telecast. Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color” is #2, while Tim McGraw’s “Humble And Kind” is #3. Maren Morris’ breakthrough smash “My Church” is #4.

In addition to performing, LBT (Vocal Group of the Year) and Maren Morris (New Artist of the Year) won notable awards at Wednesday’s ceremony. “Humble And Kind” was named the Song of the Year (the award went to songwriter Lori McKenna).

Other country/CMA-related songs in the iTunes Top 10 include Kenny Chesney’s “Setting The World On Fire (with P!nk)” (#6) and Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” (#10). Miranda Lambert’s “Vice” (#11) and Florida Georgia Line’s “May We All (featuring Tim McGraw)” (#13) are just outside the Top 10 and may rise as Thursday progresses.
