Ratings: HBO’s “Westworld” Declines This Week

While this week’s “The Walking Dead” was not as hot as last week’s season premiere, Sunday night featured an additional source of intense competition: game five of the World Series.

Facing “TWD,” the baseball game and Sunday Night Football, HBO’s “Westworld” suffered episode-to-episode declines in the live+same-day ratings.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.65 adults 18-49 rating and 1.49 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew a 0.69 and 1.70 million.

“Westworld” was still one of Sunday night’s top cable originals among young adult viewers (only “The Walking Dead” and “Talking Dead” drew more adults 18-49). It also fares well with multi-platform viewers.

Sunday’s “Westworld” led into “Divorce,” which drew a 0.16 adults 18-49 rating and 0.52 million total viewers. Last week’s edition posted a 0.18 and 0.64 million.

HBO’s night continued with “Insecure” (0.13, 0.35 million vs. 0.15, 0.47 million last week) and “Last Week Tonight” (0.39, 1.03 million vs. 0.40, 1.18 million last week).
