NBC Orders More “Timeless” Episodes, Confirms 2/27 Premieres For “Taken,” “The Voice” Season 12

NBC has offered updates on its Monday programs, confirming an order for additional “Timeless” episodes and a premiere date for the “Taken” adaptation.

Per a press release, NBC ordered additional episodes of “Timeless.” The order brings the first season total to sixteen.

“Timeless” currently occupies the 10PM, post-“The Voice” slot on Monday nights.

Come this February, “Taken” will move into the coveted position. NBC confirms that the new series, which is based on the film franchise, will premiere at 10PM on February 27.

Season twelve of “The Voice,” which features coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Gwen Stefani, will also premiere that night.

“Monday nights are critical to our success,” said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, “and we’re going strong into the rest of the season with the return of ‘The Voice’ in February followed by the premiere of ‘Taken,’ along with additional episodes of our great new series ‘Timeless.’ We’re very happy to welcome Gwen Stefani back to ‘The Voice,’ along with Blake, Adam, and our new coach Alicia Keys. And ‘Taken’ is a thrilling new series inspired by the hit movie franchise but updated in a very clever way.”
