Lady Gaga’s “Joanne” Pacing For ~40K Second Week Sales In The US

Lady Gaga’s “Joanne,” which sold just over 170,000 pure US copies during its first week of release, will sell about 40,000 more in week two.

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is on track to sell 38-43,000 pure US copies this week.

The figure should slot “Joanne” within #4-6 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales chart. Kenny Chesney’s “Cosmic Hallelujah” (~68-73,000), Avenged Sevenfold’s “The Stage” (~68-73,000) and Jeezy’s “Trap Or Die 3” (~58-63,000) should clearly end up ahead, while Meek Mill’s “DC4” (~40-45,000) and Pentatonix’s “A Pentatonix Christmas” (~34-38,000) should land in similar territory.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield a second-week consumption total of ~60-65,000 units. That should be enough for #5 on this week’s Billboard 200.

“Joanne” topped last week’s Billboard 200 with just over 200,000 units.
