Kenny Chesney’s “Cosmic Hallelujah” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Jeezy, Meek Mill, Tove Lo Top 5

Delayed to accommodate the inclusion and radio run of hit single “Setting The World On Fire (with P!nk),” Kenny Chesney’s “Cosmic Hallelujah” finally arrived on the US iTunes store Thursday night.

By 2:30AM ET Friday, it is #1 on the store’s album sales chart.

“Cosmic Hallelujah” leapfrogged Lady Gaga’s holdover “Joanne” to earn the #1 position. The Gaga album is currently #2 on the chart.

New releases make up the balance of the Top 5. Jeezy’s “Trap Or Die 3” is currently #3, while Meek Mill’s “DC4” and Tove Lo’s “Lady Wood” are #4 and #5, respectively.

Avenged Sevenfold’s new “The Stage” (#6), Kip Moore’s new “Underground” EP (#7), Pentatonix’s “A Pentatonix Christmas” (#8), Cole Swindell’s new “Down Home Sessions III” EP (#9), and Empire Of The Sun’s new “Two Vines” (#10) complete the Top 10.

Specific sales projections for the week’s key new releases should emerge this weekend.
