Ratings: “American Horror Story: Roanoke” Rises This Week, Reclaims Wednesday Cable Crown

This week’s “American Horror Story: Roanoke” reached a greater live+same-day audience than last week’s episode.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “AHS” drew a 1.41 adults 18-49 rating and 2.62 million total viewers. The numbers top the 1.36 rating and 2.48 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s episode.

The adults 18-49 rating, moreover, was the night’s best for a cable original. Last week’s episode trailed debate coverage and a baseball playoff game.

Lacking a debate, this week’s competitive landscape was obviously much less intense. It did, however, feature game two of the MLB World Series.

A strong live+same-day performer, “AHS” is also very resonant with DVR viewers. It routinely enjoys massive gains in the live+3 and live+7 ratings reports.
