Little Mix’s “Shout Out To My Ex” Debuts At #1 On UK Singles Chart

From one “The X Factor” winner to another.

That is how the Official UK Singles chart throne moves this week. After topping the past three charts, James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” cedes #1 to Little Mix’s new “Shout Out To My Ex.”

The Little Mix single tops the chart despite not arriving until the third day of the official tracking week. It marks the group’s fourth #1 in the UK.

Little Mix previously topped the UK singles chart with “Cannonball,” “Wings,” and “Black Magic.”

The Official Charts Company notes that “Shout Out To My Ex” debuts with 95K first-week UK units. 67K are paid downloads, which marks the best opening week paid download figure of the year.

“Say You Won’t Let Go” falls to #2 this week. The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” falls to #3, while The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” drops one spot to #4.

Up a whopping twelve places, Hailee Steinfeld & Grey’s “Starving (featuring Zedd)” earns #5. This marks the first UK Top 5 for Steinfeld and Grey.

— Neiked’s “Sexual” jumps twelve places to #12.
— Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” debuts at #16.
