Garth Brooks’ “Baby, Let’s Lay Down And Dance” Ranks As Country Radio’s Most Added Song

In the epitome of an unsurprising story, Garth Brooks’ “Baby, Let’s Lay Down And Dance” claims the top spot on the weekly country radio add board.

The country icon’s new single was picked up by 99 Mediabase-monitored country stations this week. The count almost triples that of the next-most added song.

Brad Paisley’s “Today,” that song, landed at 37 additional stations.

Blake Shelton’s “A Guy With A Girl” takes third with 30 adds, while an add count of 29 slots Jake Owen’s “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You” in the fourth-most added position.

Credited with 28 weekly adds, Thomas Rhett’s “Star Of The Show” ranks as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable country radio options: Aubrie Sellers’ “Sit Here And Cry” (17 adds, 6th), Ryan Follese’s “Put A Label On It” (11 adds, 7th), Kelsea Ballerini’s “Yeah Boy” (10 adds, 8th), Eric Church’s “Kill A Word (featuring Rhiannon Giddens)” (9 adds, 9th, tie), and Farewell Angelina’s “If It Ain’t With You” (9 adds, 9th).
