James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” Reaches #1 In Australia

After a nine-week run atop the ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” finally cedes its throne.

James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” fills the vacant throne.

The song, which was #3 last week, earns #1 on this week’s edition of the chart. Its ascent to #1 in Australia comes as the song enjoys a third week atop the official UK singles chart.

Up two places, The Weeknd’s “Starboy (featuring Daft Punk)” earns #2 on on this week’s ARIA chart. “Closer” falls to #3 on the Australian listing.

Calum Scott’s “Dancing On My Own” drops two spots to #4, while Sia’s “The Greatest (featuring Kendrick Lamar)” rises two places to #5.

This week’s other notable movers on the Australian Top 50:

— The Chainsmokers’ “All We Know (featuring Phoebe Ryan)” rises one spot to #10.
— Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” debuts at #12.
