Sales Projections Upgraded For Green Day, Norah Jones, OneRepublic, Alter Bridge Albums

Sales projections for the new Green Day, Norah Jones, OneRepublic, and Alter Bridge albums have been raised from their initial levels.

Hits Daily Double, which initially said Green Day’s “Revolution Radio” was on track for 74-79,000 in pure first week US sales, now expects the album to sell 84-89,000 copies. The figure will easily be enough for #1 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.

On track for 88-93,000 in total first-week consumption (pure sales + track sales/10 + track streams/1500), “Revolution Radio” is also set to top the Billboard 200 consumption chart.

Pacing for #2 on the Top Album Sales chart, Norah Jones’ “Day Breaks” is now expected to sell 39-43,000 pure US copies. Hits initially projected 32-37,000 in opening week sales.

Initially on track for 27-32,000 in US album sales, OneRepublic’s “Oh My My” now looks headed for a bow in the 34-38,000 range.

Alter Bridge’s “The Last Hero” has also received an upgraded projection. The initial expectation was for a bow in the 23-28,000 range; the new projection is 28-31,000.

“Day Breaks,” “Oh My My,” and “The Last Hero” are set to claim the #2, #3, and #4 spots on the Top Album Sales chart.

“Oh My My” (~42-46,000 in total units) and “Day Breaks” (~41-45,000 total units) are expected to battle Drake’s “Views” (~41,45,000 total units) for #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Solange’s “A Seat At The Table” (~35-39,000 total units) and “Suicide Squad: The Album” (~33-37,000) will also vie for Top 5 spots.

On track for ~29-33,000 in first-week consumption, “The Last Hero” should land at around #7 on the Billboard 200.
