On last week’s “Empire,” viewers saw the flirtation grow between Cookie and Angelo. They saw Jamal pursue different means to confront his PTSD — and Freda. Hakeem (amid tension with Tiana) began to develop studio chemistry with Nessa, while Anika put her foot down regarding Lucious’ treatment.
The third season action continues in this week’s “Cupid Kills” episode.
“Things heat up between Cookie and Angelo (guest star Taye Diggs), so Lucious finally recognizes Angelo as a formidable rival and prepares to take him on,” says FOX of the episode. “Meanwhile, Jamal is finally able to face Freda Gatz, a big first step on his journey to recovery. Also, Anika goes back to work at Empire and instantly causes turmoil, while Hakeem starts falling for Nessa, even though she might be into a different Lyon.”
