E!’s “Total Bellas” opened similarly to how the fifth season of “Total Divas” ended.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday night’s “Total Bellas” premiere drew a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating and 632,000 total viewers. The numbers are almost identical to the 0.31 rating and 625,000 viewership mark posted by the April 2016 “Total Divas” season finale.
It is worth noting that said “Total Divas” cooled considerably over the course of the fifth season, which opened with a 0.52 rating and 1.115 million total viewers.
Prior to season five, no “Total Divas” episode had drawn fewer than 795,000 total viewers.
In short, the fact that the “Total Bellas” premiere matched the most recent “Total Divas” finale is not necessarily cause for celebration.
Things could have been worse, however. And they were for “Catching Kelce.”
Airing out of “Total Bellas,” the Travis Kelce-centric dating show posted a weak 0.13 adults 18-49 rating and 259,000 in total viewership.
