Ratings: “WAGS Miami” Debut Outdraws Most Season Two “WAGS” Episodes

It may not have been a blockbuster hit, but Sunday’s “WAGS Miami” premiere impressively outdrew key recent “WAGS” episodes.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, the first episode of E!’s new spin-off series posted a 0.36 adults 18-49 rating and 696,000 total viewers.

The numbers top the 0.29 rating and 561,000 viewership mark garnered by last week’s season two “WAGS” finale. They also top the 0.28 rating and 557,000 viewership sum attained by the June 26, 2016 second season “WAGS” premiere.

Only one second season “WAGS” episode, in fact, drew more viewers than this week’s “WAGS Miami” premiere. Airing out of the highly rated “Rob & Chyna” premiere (1.08 adults 18-49 rating, 2.042 million total viewers), the 9/11 “WAGS” drew a 0.49 rating and 860,000 audience members.

In fairness, this week’s “WAGS Miami” premiere received a stronger “Rob & Chyna” boost than that afforded to last week’s “WAGS” season finale (0.70/1.368 million vs. 0.62/1.261 million).

Still, it is hard to look at this week’s performance as anything but encouraging.
