The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Stays #1 At Pop Radio

The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” unsurprisingly retains its throne at pop radio.

Played ~18,722 times during the September 25-October 1 tracking week (+1,526), “Closer” earns a second week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

It tops the week’s #2 song by over 2,000 spins. Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ),” again that runner-up, garnered ~16,584 weekly plays (-107).

Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” holds at #3 with ~15,549 tracking period spins (+486), while twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” jumps two places to a new peak of #4. “Heathens” attained ~13,669 spins during the official tracking week (+2,293).

Sia’s “Cheap Thrills (featuring Sean Paul),” which was #4 last week, slips to #5 this week. It received ~12,382 weekly spins (-1,014).
