Lin-Manuel Miranda [NBC]
NBC has confirmed the host and musical guest for the October 8 edition of “Saturday Night Live.”
Per a network press release, “Hamilton”‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda will host the broadcast. Superstar alt-pop duo twenty one pilots will serve as the episode’s musical act.
The episode will mark Miranda’s first appearance as “SNL” host and twenty one pilots’ first stint as “SNL” musical guest.
“SNL” commences its 42nd season this Saturday with host Margot Robbie and musical guest The Weeknd.
