Dan + Shay’s “How Not To” Ranks As Country Radio’s Most Added Song

The follow-up to Dan + Shay’s chart-topping “From The Ground Up” earns the top spot on the latest country radio add board.

The duo’s “How Not To” was added by 39 Mediabase-monitored stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact.

“How Not To” represents Dan + Shay’s chance at a third straight country radio #1. Prior to “From The Ground Up,” the duo reached #1 with “Nothin’ Like You.”

Picked up by 30 stations this week, Tyler Farr’s “Our Town” ranks as second-most added. Artists Of Then, Now & Forever’s “Forever Country” takes third with 24 adds, while Jennifer Nettles’ “Hey Heartbreak” earns fourth place on the strength of 17 pickups.

Credited with 16 adds, Jon Pardi’s “Dirt On My Boots” ranks as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable country radio options: George Strait’s “Goin’ Goin’ Gone” (15 adds, 6th), Eric Church’s “Kill A Word (featuring Rhiannon Giddens)” (14 adds, 7th), Chris Lane’s “For Her” (13 adds, 8th), Carrie Underwood’s “Dirty Laundry” (12 adds, 9th), and Jordan Rager’s “Now That I Know Your Name” (9 adds, 10th).
