Report: Usher’s “Hard II Love” Debuts With 26K US Sales, 37K Total US Units

Hits Daily Double has released its weekly album reports, revealing approximate first-week sales and consumption totals for Usher’s “Hard II Love.”

Per Hits, the veteran’s new data sold approximately 26,256 US copies during the September 16-22 tracking week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) yields a consumption total of about 37,286 units.

Due Sunday, Billboard’s more authoritative data will likely differ slightly. The Hits figures nonetheless provide a reasonable accurate indication of how “Hard II Love” fared in week one.

Assuming the data holds, “Hard II Love” should debut in the Top 5 on Top Album Sales. It will likely take #5 or #6 on the Billboard 200 consumption chart.

The album is the follow-up to Usher’s “Looking 4 Myself.” Released in 2012, that album sold 128,000 first week copies. It debuted at #1 on the then-sales-only Billboard 200.
