“The People v. OJ Simpson” Wins Limited Series Emmy; “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride” Earns Movie Trophy

FX’s critically acclaimed “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” won numerous awards at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.

One of those awards was the biggest prize for which it was nominated: Outstanding Limited Series.

“ACS” beat out “The Night Manager,” “Roots,” “Fargo,” and “American Crime” for the trophy.

— Shortly before announcing “The People v. OJ” as the winner for Outstanding Limited Series, the Emmys ceremony crowned “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride” the year’s top TV movie. “A Very Murray Christmas,” “Luther,” “Confirmation,” and “All The Way” were also nominated.
