Mac Miller’s “Divine Feminine” Earns #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Aaron Lewis, Casting Crowns, Usher Follow

Immediately following its debut Thursday night, Mac Miller’s “The Divine Feminine” soared to #1 on the US iTunes album sales chart.

There it remains as of 3:25AM ET Friday morning.

Miller’s new album is one of four new releases in the Top 5. Aaron Lewis’ “Sinner” is #2, while Casting Crowns’ “The Very Next Thing” and Usher’s “Hard II Love” are #3 and #5, respectively. Jason Aldean’s #4 “They Don’t Know” is the only holdover release in the Top 5.

Die Antwoord’s “Mount Ninji and da Nice Time Kid” (#6), Travi$ Scott’s “Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight” (#7), Beyonce’s “Lemonade” (#8), Bad Suns’ “Disappear Here” (#9), and Taking Back Sunday’s #10 “Tidal Wave” form the balance of the Top 10.

Specific sales projections for the key new releases should emerge this weekend.
