The Chainsmokers & Halsey’s “Closer” Still Rules US Spotify Chart; DJ Snake & Justin Bieber Top 5

The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” again claims #1 on the weekly US Spotify chart.

It again increases its margin of victory.

Credited with a monstrous 15.747 million US streams during the August 26-September 1 tracking week, “Closer” earns a fourth week atop the chart. Its tally easily tops the 13.011 million garnered last week, a figure that was dominant in its own right.

Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ)” holds at #2 with 8.814 million. twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” again follows at #3 thanks to its 8.044 million weekly US streams.

Up two places, DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You (featuring Justin Bieber)” earns #4. It generated 7.629 million tracking period streams in the US. Bieber is the only artist with two songs in the Top 5.

Down one place, Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” takes #5 with a weekly streaming total of 7.339 million.
