Ratings: “Pretty Little Liars” Hits Season High For Summer Finale; “Dead Of Summer” Rises

When it comes to the adults 18-49 demographic, Tuesday’s “Pretty Little Liars” clearly ranks as the show’s lowest-rated midseason finale to date.

It was, however, the highest-rated broadcast of the current season.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “PLL” drew a 0.68 adults 18-49 rating and 1.327 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.54 rating and 1.090 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s broadcast.

The demo rating, moreover, edges that of the season premiere (0.67) to rank as a season seven high. The viewership figure is the season’s second-greatest; only the premiere (1.429 million) drew a larger live+same-day audience.

Earlier this week, Freeform confirmed that the show’s ongoing seventh season will be its last. The final stretch of episodes will premiere in April.

Tuesday’s summer “PLL” finale led into the season finale of “Dead Of Summer.” The broadcast drew a 0.18 demo rating and 410,000 total viewers. The numbers best the 0.14 rating and 358,000 audience mark garnered last week.
