Florida Georgia Line, Barbra Streisand Still Pacing For Top 2 Slots On Sales, BB200 Charts

As we move into the latter portion of the August 26-September 1 tracking period, Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots” and Barbra Streisand’s “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway” remain poised for the top slots in the album sales and consumption races.

According to Hits Daily Double, “Dig Your Roots” is projected to sell 132-137,000 pure US copies by week’s end. The “Encore” projection is just behind at 127-132,000.

“Dig Your Roots” has a clearer lead in the consumption battle. With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) added to the album sales total, “Dig Your Roots” should generate 147-152,000 units this week. “Encore” is on track to generate 130-135,000 in consumption.

Pacing for 92-97,000 pure US sales and 114-119,000 total units, Britney Spears’ “Glory” is pacing for #3 in both regards.

Pure sales totals inform positions on the Top Album Sales chart. Consumption drives the Billboard 200.
