Ratings: “Girl Meets World,” “Bunk’d” Rise; “Elena Of Avalor” Falls

Friday’s editions of “Girl Meets World” and “Bunk’d” both enjoyed episode-to-episode gains in live+same-day viewership.

“Elena Of Avalor,” on the other hand, endured a decline.

According to live+same-day data, “Elena” opened Disney Channel’s Friday night slate with a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.28 adults 18-34 rating and 1.26 million total viewers. The three numbers trail those of the August 12 broadcast, which posted a 0.34 in adults 18-49, a 0.34 in adults 18-34 and 1.73 million total viewers.

Friday’s “Elena” also fell (but remained solid from a competitive standpoint) in young demographics like 12-34.

While down week-to-week, 7:30PM series “Elena” did, in tandem with 8:30PM entry “Girl Meets World,” create a stronger scheduling dynamic for “Bunk’d.”

Airing at 8PM, Friday’s “Bunk’d” drew a 0.33 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.33 adults 18-34 rating and 1.54 million total viewers. The numbers were up from the 0.27/0.28/1.44m posted by Thursday’s episode — and the best achieved by any of the four season premiere week episodes.

“Bunk’d” led into “Girl Meets World,” which drew a 0.46 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.45 adults 18-34 rating and 1.86 million total viewers. The numbers best the 0.37 adults 18-49 rating, 0.39 adults 18-34 rating and 1.56 million viewership mark garnered by last Friday’s installment.

“Bunk’d” and “Girl Meets World” also fared well with younger demographics.
