Carrie Underwood’s “Dirty Laundry” Reaches #64 At Country Radio

Carrie Underwood’s “Dirty Laundry” does not officially impact country radio until September 6, but it is already gaining traction at the format.

The fourth “Storyteller” single, which was #92 last week, ranks as the Mediabase country panel’s #64 song this week.

“Dirty Laundry” received 268 Mediabase-monitored spins during the August 21-27 tracking period, but it is worth noting that Mediabase ranks songs based on a proprietary scoring system (spins are given point values based on the size of the market in which they were received) rather than raw airplay.

Fifty-one stations contributed to this week’s spin count.

“Dirty Laundry” is the follow-up to Underwood’s “Church Bells,” which reached #1 at country radio. Earlier “Storyteller” singles “Heartbeat” and “Smoke Break” also reached the format’s apex.
