Russ’ “What They Want” Ranks As Rhythmic Radio’s Most Added Song; Lil Yachty, Kehlani Follow

Rhythmic radio showered support upon a trio of emerging stars this week; Russ’ “What They Want,” Lil Yachty’s “1 Night,” and Kehlani’s “CRZY” claim the top three spots on the format’s weekly add board.

Picked up by 28 Mediabase-monitored stations this week, “What They Want” registers as rhythmic’s most added song. “1 Night” takes second with 20 adds, while “CRZY” grabs third place on the strength of another 16 pickups.

DJ Khaled’s loaded “Do You Mind (featuring Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih, Future & Rick Ross)” claims fourth on the add board thanks to its 11 new pickups. A weekly add count of 10 positions The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” as fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable rhythmic radio options: Beyonce’s “Hold Up” (8 adds, 6th-most, tie), Desiigner’s “Tiimmy Turner” (8 adds, 6th, tie), Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl” (6 adds, 8th, tie), Lil Wayne/Wiz Khalifa/Imagine Dragons’ “Sucker For Pain (featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Logic & X Ambassadors)” (6 adds, 8th, tie), and Wiz Khalifa’s “Pull Up (featuring Lil Uzi Vert)” (6 adds, 8th, tie).
