Beyonce’s “Hold Up” Makes Top 55 At Rhythmic Radio; DJ Snake & Justin Bieber, Russ Enter Top 65

Based on airplay received during the August 14-20 tracking period, Beyonce’s “Hold Up” earns a Top 55 position at rhythmic radio

Spun 310 times this past week, “Hold Up” ranks as the Mediabase rhythmic panel’s #54 song. It was #80 last week.

The “Lemonade” single officially impacted rhythmic radio this past Tuesday. It also impacted urban, where it grabs #36 on the corresponding Mediabase airplay chart.

As “Hold Up” moves into the Top 55 at rhythmic, singles by DJ Snake and Russ reach the Top 65.

DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You (featuring Justin Bieber),” which received 201 weekly spins, ranks as the Mediabase rhythmic panel’s #62 song. It was outside the Top 95 last week.

Russ’ “What They Want” meanwhile rises twenty seven places to #64. It garnered 180 tracking week spins.

“Let Me Love You” has been receiving meaningful airplay at pop, hot adult contemporary and rhythmic, but Interscope has remained curiously quiet when it comes to confirming an official impact date or promotional campaign.

“What They Want” goes for rhythmic adds this Tuesday.
