Chevelle’s “Joyride (Omen)” Spends Fourth Week As Active Rock Radio’s #1 Song

Chevelle’s “Joyride (Omen)” tops the Mediabase active rock airplay chart for a fourth consecutive week.

“Joyride” holds #1 thanks to the ~1,752 spins it received during the August 14-20 tracking period. The count trails last week’s mark by 199 but keeps “Joyride” comfortably atop the listing.

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Dark Necessities,” which repeats as the #2 song, received ~1,613 weekly spins (-59).

Up two places, The Pretty Reckless’ “Take Me Down” follows at #3 with ~1,536 weekly plays (+133). Pop Evil’s Take It All” holds at #4 with ~1,502 spins (+75), while blink-182’s “Bored To Death” rises one spot to #5 despite a loss in weekly airplay. The song received ~1,338 tracking period spins, down 27 from the mark posted last week.
