Last week, “The Night Of” was the only Sunday HBO program that posted a week-to-week gain in viewership.
This week, “Last Week Tonight” was the only one that did not enjoy a weekly uptick. Limited series “The Night Of” and comedies “Ballers” and “Vice Principals” were all up in both adults 18-49 and total viewership.
According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s “The Night Of” drew a 0.54 adults 18-49 rating and 1.41 million total viewers. The numbers top the 0.49 rating and 1.37 million viewership mark delivered by last week’s episode.
This was the most watched “The Night Of” yet.
“Ballers” followed with a 0.57 rating and 1.21 million viewership mark, numbers which best the 0.54 and 1.15 million drawn by last week’s broadcast.
“Vice Principals” led out of “Ballers” with a 0.39 rating and 0.82 million in live+same-day viewership. Last week’s “Vice Principals” scored a 0.33 in the demo and reached a total of 0.71 million viewers.
The aforementioned “Last Week Tonight” concluded Sunday’s lineup of originals with a 0.38 rating and 0.97 million in viewership. The previous week’s “Last Week Tonight” posted a 0.39 and 1.01 million.
