“KC Undercover” Enjoys Another Ratings Gain, “Bizaardvark” Up In A18-49, Down In Viewers

For the second straight week, “KC Undercover” faced competition from Olympics coverage.

For the second straight week, “KC Undercover” posted gains in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, and total viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.51 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.60 adults 18-34 rating, and 1.97 million total viewers.

All three numbers top those of last week’s “KC Undercover,” which drew a 0.33 in adults 18-49, 0.28 in adults 18-34, 1.88 million). Those numbers were all up from the prior broadcast on July 24.

This week’s adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 performances were particularly impressive; they comfortably top those delivered by Friday’s edition of Disney Channel flagship “Girl Meets World.”

The viewership figure, meanwhile, was the show’s best since April.

Sunday’s episode also received a strong reception from social media users, who praised its discussion of race and gender issues.

“KC Undercover” led into “Bizaardvark.” Sunday’s episode drew a 0.29 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.30 adults 18-34 rating, and 1.53 million total viewers. The demo ratings top those of last week’s broadcast (0.28 in A18-49, 0.25 in A18-34), but the viewership figure was down from the previous episode’s 1.74 million sum.
