OneRepublic’s “Kids” Ranks As Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

OneRepublic’s new single “Kids” wins a very close race for most added at hot adult contemporary radio.

“Kids” was added by 15 Mediabase-monitored stations this week. The count gives OneRepublic’s single the very slight edge over Andy Grammer’s “Fresh Eyes” and Gavin DeGraw’s “She Sets The City On Fire,” which were both picked up by 14 stations.

Three songs follow in a tie for fourth-most added; Ariana Grande’s “Into You,” Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ)” and Wrabel’s “11 Blocks” were each picked up by 11 stations this week.

This week’s other notable Hot AC radio options: Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl” (10 adds, 7th, tie), twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” (10 adds, 7th, tie), The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey)” (9 adds, 9th), Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (6 adds, 10th, tie), James Bay’s “Hold Back The River” (6 adds, 10th, tie), Katy Perry’s “Rise” (6 adds, 10th, tie), Lukas Graham’s “Mama Said” (6 adds, 10th, tie), and Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” (6 adds, 10th, tie).
