The Strumbellas’ “Spirits,” Nothing But Thieves’ “Trip Switch,” X Ambassadors’ “Renegades,” and Milky Chance’s “Stolen Dance” all hit #1 at alternative radio.
The singles also have something else in common: they were all aided by the iHeartRadio “On The Verge” program.
Early Monday morning, iHeart confirmed Judah & The Lion and the band’s single “Take It All Back” as the newest recipients of “On The Verge” support.
In addition to branding, “On The Verge” provides selected songs with guaranteed airplay on all iHeartMedia stations within a designed format. For “Take It All Back,” that guaranteed airplay will come at alternative radio.
“Take It All Back” succeeds Bishop Briggs’ “River” as the alternative “On The Verge” pick. “River” is currently #6 — and rising — on the Mediabase alternative chart.
