Britney Spears & G-Eazy’s “Make Me” Improves To #64 At Rhythmic Radio

While it has received considerably greater support from the pop and hot adult contemporary formats, Britney Spears’ “Make Me (featuring G-Eazy)” is not invisible to rhythmic programmers.

This week, it ranks as the Mediabase rhythmic panel’s #64 song.

Up nine places, “Make Me” received 187 spins during the August 7-13 tracking period. This week’s spin count bests last week’s count by 53 plays.

“Make Me” concurrently rises to #19 at pop radio and holds at #36 on the Hot AC chart. There is, however, concern about the song’s future at both formats. Its was up a mere 85 spins (to 4,956) at pop this week. It was actually down 31 (to 472) at Hot AC.

This week’s rhythmic count bests last week’s by a far more appealing 39%, but it is worth noting that only four of the seventeen rhythmic stations that played “Make Me” this week were new supporters. That modest amount of new support provides little optimism regarding the song’s likelihood of flying up the chart in the coming weeks.
