The breakthrough hit officially earned a gold certification on July 28, 2016. The honor confirms a US unit total of 500,000.
Under the RIAA’s digital singles program, each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
“Gold” recently cracked the Top 20 at pop radio and the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
