iHeartRadio Confirms Wrabel’s “11 Blocks” As “On The Verge” Selection

Amid his single’s rapid ascent up the format’s airplay chart, iHeartRadio has confirmed Wrabel as its newest “On The Verge” artist for the hot adult contemporary format.

In addition to branding support, “On The Verge” provides selected artists with guaranteed airplay on the iHeartMedia network of stations. In Wrabel’s case, the support applies to his breakthrough single “11 Blocks.”

“11 Blocks” rose three places to #20 on last week’s official Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. It is #18 — and up 28% in week-to-week spins — on the building chart for the current tracking period.

Past “On The Verge” selections for Hot AC radio include Echosmith’s “Cool Kids,” Ella Henderson’s “Ghost,” Sheppard’s “Geronimo,” Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness’ “Cecilia And The Satellite,” and Lukas Graham’s “7 Years.”

“Fight Song” and “7 Years,” the latter of which was the pick prior to “11 Blocks,” both reached #1 on the format’s airplay chart.
