Drake & Rihanna Heading Top 15 At Rhythmic, Major Lazer, Justin Bieber & MØ Top 20

Two high-profile collaborations are headed for new peaks on the Mediabase rhythmic radio airplay chart.

Drake’s “Too Good (featuring Rihanna),” which was #25 on last week’s chart, will fly into the Top 15 this week. Major Lazer’s “Cold Water (featuring Justin Bieber & MØ)” will concurrently jump into the Top 20; it was #29 last week.

“Too Good” received 1,838 spins during the first six days of the July 31-August 6 tracking week. Up 60.1% from the count at this point last week, the tally positions “Too Good” at #15 on Mediabase’s building chart. It faces no imminent threat from below — and thus no cause for concern about holding its Top 15 position.

“Cold Water” concurrently received 1,494 spins during the tracking week’s first six days. Up a whopping 96.6% from last week’s number, the tally has “Cold Water” at #20 on the building chart.

“Cold Water” faces no threat from below; it may even top Kanye West’s building #19 “Father Stretch My Hands” before the close of tracking.
